Víctor Jiménez was trained at Víctor Ullate's Ballet School from 1991 to 2001. In 1992 he joined Víctor Ullate's Ballet Company, being its soloist dancer until 2001, and staying in it until 2002. He has been soloist dancer at the Bèjart Ballet Lausanne, directed by Maurice Bèjart, since 2002. He has also been soloist dancer at the Lyons Opera Ballet since July 2007. Since July 2008 he directs LaMov, a stable dance company based in Zaragoza, for which he has choreographed El Trovador. Classical choreographies as well as creations by Maurice Bèjart and Víctor Ullate are to be found in his repertoire. He has also interpreted choreographies by Kylian, Forsythe or Mats Ek, among others.

This work tries to place the spectator in a specific place, maybe belonging to the subconscious, and to remind him that his life's journey is full of lonely moments. The starting point for this creation has been a reflection about everyday situations, sometimes extreme ones, related to loneliness and love, as well as to the latter's opposite: oblivion. Human beings can transcend themselves, but they can also endure the pain of loneliness, so real, so physical; anyway, just because they are human, they overcome the pain and eventually forget it, thus setting off their own rebirth.

The dancers express as if in a dream, in groups or isolated, and through their bodies, that deep pain also passes. It is the cycle of life: the renewal of body and soul.
